2. Choose Quality over Quantity: When buying clothes, always remember to choose quality over quantity. When you choose quality, clothes are bound to live longer and require less maintenance. Invest in good quality pieces that stand the test of time. Choose classic styles and colors that will not grow old with time and then you can  mix and match!
   When you choose quantity, clothes are easily ruined with one wash or two. Not all the clothes can withstand your lifestyle.
   
3. Repair and Repurpose: Now, when you have categorized your clothes as mentioned above, set aside the pieces that need little repair and get them repaired. It takes about 150+ years to decompose polyester. Whenever there is a little repair need, get it done or you can always sew a patch onto the repair and make it look new. Sure, embroidering on the repair is a cool way to go!
   The clothes which you think are beyond repair, find means to make something out of it, like a blanket or a rug which can be used in the house. It looks cool and less waste right?
   
   
4. Capsule Planning: Consider adopting a capsule planning approach. A capsule wardrobe consists of a collection of essential, timeless pieces which can be mixed and matched to create a variety of different outfits. This not only simplifies your wardrobe planning and morning routine but also encourages a mindful approach to shopping!
   

Now, coming to the hard part! Whenever you buy quality clothes, whether it be dresses, tops, blouses, trousers, blazers, shirts and fabrics whether they be cotton, linen, silk, etc, every fabric has its special needs of cleaning. Let’s take an example. You have a gorgeous red linen dress with ivory laces at the hems with minimal embroidery. Would you wash them among your regular everyday clothes? No!!!
